Hard to find vintage hair adornment:
*I love these versatile and unique little gems - you can use them as clips, barrettes, bobby pins, twisted hair tendril tie backs, sticks, random hair decorations in buns or braids, insert a small
lightweight veil or petite flower - the possibilities are endless
*The rhinestone centerpiece has a flip to stay mechanism that allows you to flip it up to place or position as desired and then flip it down to secure
*This one has an open work swag design that allows your hair to peek through
*I am guessing that this is 1930's to 1940's in age
*Rhodium plating is known not to tarnish and really adds some sparkle - this has a nice subtle matte tone
*This type of rhinestone piece is commonly called "French Paste" and the rhinestones tend to gray
over time on most of them that I have seen.  I think it really adds to the vintage look and charm.
*All stones are present and are
even in tone - very minimal graying,  if any
*Measures 2" long x 1 1/4" across - measured with clip in the down position
