VINTAGE GERMAN VIOLIN 3/4 13" BODY EARLY TO MID 20TH C
Nice vintage German violin. Labeled Stradavarious on label. This is a 3/4 violin with a 13" body size. There is a small hairline on the f hole on right bout, very tight. There have been New Old Stock strings installed. Silverwound gut strings from the 50s/60s. I see someone has repaired the back lower at the seam, or maybe just tried to clean it at one point as the varnish is lighter in color for 3 " or so (see photo).  The violin is fully blocked and of quality that only Germany made during that time period. I have sold several of these and everybody likes them. Great for the student, or perhaps someone with small hands. Comes with a case from the 60s, I had around the shop.
