Vintage 1940's Bakelite Plastic Art Deco Belt Buckle .. Great Earrings

Up for auction is this very Art Deco belt buckle. It is made of plastic mounted on metal discs. Each piece measures 1 3/8 inches in diameter and is marked "Made in Germany" on the back. They are in nice condition with some small stress splits to the plastic on the sides (see last photo). If you did not want to use this piece as a belt buckle it would make a great pair of 1940's earrings. Shipping weight, well packed, is under 1 lb. Insurance has been added to the shipping cost as per Ebay's mandate. Please be sure to enlarge the photos for more detail and don't hesitate to ask questions.
