Rorstrand Ceramic Piggy Bank w/ floral design. Condition is "Used".
My Norwegian grandmother gifted this bank to me back in the early 1970's. Overall, the integrity of the bank is very good, but do note the blems.This sturdy piggy sustained the snout chips in the Loma Prieta Earthquake of 1989, a 7.0 temblor in which many of its lesser ceramic compatriots lost their lives. As there is no rubber plug in the bottom to access saved coins, the coin slot has sustained wear in the process of being divested of its contents. Speaking from experience, this is not a good bank to give a child. Postage paid inside the U.S.
