RETROFLASHBACKS VINTAGE VIOLIN C1900 GREAT PATENA FULL 4/4 SIZE FIDDLE

Description

Vintage violin from the turn of the century. Nice patena, thickly grained spruce front and a one piece back. No label inside, maybe German. Lower bout is 8", upper bout is 6 1/2". The only hairline crack I see is in a side rib (see photos).  I think the ribs have been re-glued at the bottom at some time but seem tight enough. This violin is full size 4/4. Needs a set of strings and set up. The case is old and very beat up outside, but the inside is good enough. Would make a great Fiddle!  This is just how it was traded in 25 years ago.
