    Description

    On offer, we have an original poster for "La Peau De Chagrin" (The Skin Of Grief), a French opera dating to 1855. A comedy, this was based on the Honore de Balzac book of the same name published in 1831. The art design was done by Tony Johannot. This lithograph poster measures 41 1/4" X 29 1/2". The print is 34" X 25".
    This is in very good condition for being 164 years old. The print is almost flawless. The margins are wrinkles and worn. It should frame nicely with them removed. Please view my photographs for more description.
