Description

Brüno Valentin Karlsson BK 1927-2020 created pottery at several studios including twice at the Rorstrand studio in Lidkoping. He worked at EGO Stoneware, also in Lidkoping from 1973-1985. For a short time he returned to Rorstrand at which point he and his wife opened their own studio in Lidkoping.

Excellent Condition.
The type of pottery and quality of stoneware as well as glazing techniques is on par with the best of Nylund and Stalhane from Rorstrand. If you take a look at the signature picture, you will see the familiar Rorstrand brown with hand carved signature. (Please note, while the quality of this piece is exceptional, it was not created at Rorstrand). Personally I find his glazing technique to be superior.
