    Description

    Title:
    Antique Figural Napkin Ring
    Description:
Presented for your consideration is this neat antique napkin ring. This harder to find figural napkin ring was made by Rogers, Smith & Co. and dates to the 1880s. It features a very detailed squirrel eating an acorn that he securely has his arms wrapped around. His long, bushy tail pops up from the back. The squirrel stands next to a traditional napkin ring with 2 floral designed bands around the top. The squirrel and ring are securely attached to a rectangular platform with ball feet in each corner. Nice, intricate detailing and fine craftsmanship is displayed throughout. Underside bottom is marked with "Rogers, Smith & Co. Meriden, CT Quadruple 194." This neat napkin ring would make a great addition to any silverplate, napkin ring, or squirrel themed collection!
Ring is bent slightly out of round on one side. Light wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 2 3/4" wide, 2" deep at the deepest point and 2 1/4" tall.
