ANTIQUE GERMAN VIOLIN TIGER MAPLE BACK, WITH OLD CASE / OLD BOW AND HISTORY

Description

Antique  German violin c1900. .  Would make a great fiddle.  I do not see any cracks on front. Back looks good I thought there was a hairline but its so faint I think its in the wood grain.  It has a two piece tiger maple back. It is missing one string, was broken and still inside the case. Tuners work OK. The top scroll of neck was cracked both sides and repaired long ago. Maybe bottom of violin was re glued over the years but is solid. Comes with an old bow, nothing great and slight crook but may be able to use. There is a bit of history in a note from the original family owners. Will be in the case for the new owner.
